A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO CHOOSING CARE

Find a doctor.
Compare the whole care plan.

A low advertised price tells you only part of the story. Look at credentials, evaluation, follow-up, and the total cost together—then ask clear questions before committing.

Prime Health promotes Reform HRT. This guide is not an independent ranking or a directory of individual doctors.

SIX THINGS TO CHECK

Choose with more clarity.

Use the same questions
when comparing every care option.

  1. Know who is responsible for your care.

Ask for the clinician’s full name and credential. Check the official state resource appropriate to your visit, including any applicable telehealth registration. A business listing or brand name cannot replace this check.

  2. Look for an evaluation before a treatment plan.

Ask how the clinician reviews your history, medications, symptoms, and relevant results. Discuss alternatives and the possibility that a requested medication may not be suitable. A prescription should not be promised in advance.

  3. Understand the exact product.

If medication is considered, ask for its name, formulation, intended use, and pharmacy. Ask whether it is an FDA-approved finished product, compounded preparation, or another product; those are different categories.

  4. Make follow-up part of the decision.

Ask which visits or checks are included, who reviews results, and how questions or side effects are handled. Clarify refill requirements and what happens if your care needs change.

  5. Check practical fit.

Confirm your eligibility, physical location during visits, appointment format, and how to reach the team. For an in-person appointment, confirm the address, suite, and access instructions.

  6. Get the full price in writing.

Compare the same period and the same services. Ask about consultation, testing, medication, supplies, shipping, follow-up, renewal, and cancellation terms before paying.

VALUE IS MORE THAN A STARTING PRICE

Compare the full cost.

Ask each provider for an itemized written estimate for the same period. A useful comparison includes what you will receive, what is billed separately, and the terms for continuing or ending care.

OFFICIAL RESOURCES

Verify the clinician.

Use official state resources and confirm the authorization appropriate to your visit. These resources help you check credentials; a search result does not determine whether a particular treatment is appropriate for you.

CHECK THE CLINICIAN

New York credential resources

Ask for the name and professional credential of the clinician responsible for your care. Use New York’s official search to check license and registration information. Physician conduct information is available separately through the Department of Health’s Office of Professional Medical Conduct.

CHECK THE CLINICIAN

Florida credential resources

Ask for the clinician’s name and the credential that applies to your visit. Florida’s official practitioner search provides license and disciplinary information. Florida also has a registration pathway for certain out-of-state telehealth providers; confirm the appropriate authorization for your appointment rather than assuming every remote clinician holds a full Florida license.
